June 10: How It Works and Business Meeting

Hi all

We had a great speaker last week.  This week we will be reading from the identity papers (or page 81 in the Big Red Book) regarding "ACA and How It Works."  Don't miss it!

At the end of the meeting will be our first business meeting.  The agenda is as follows:

1.  Money-  we need to pay our rent and the (acting) treasurer will give a financial report.

2.  We need a REAL treasurer.  :)  We could also use a secretary, group rep, literature person, etc.  But since we are so new and small, we may have a hard time filling positions.  If you have six months or more in ACA, please consider becoming an officer. 

3.  Two people have asked that we read the steps at the meeting.  So we'll need to vote on that.  Do we want to use the traditional ACA (AA) steps, or Tony A.'s steps?  Both are listed on this blog under the tab:  "The 12 Steps of ACA." 

We want the meeting to be short, so please come with your thoughts and ideas and motions!  We will vote on officers and the steps and be outta there!
